Six Undergraduate Psychology Students of UNY Officially Participate in the January 2026 Graduation Adjudication

Yogyakarta, 30 January 2026 — The Undergraduate Program in Psychology, Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) participated in the January 2026 Graduation Adjudication (Yudisium) held on Thursday (30/1) at Abdullah Sigit Hall, Faculty of Education (FIP) UNY. This event marked an important milestone in the students’ academic journey, signifying the completion of all academic requirements at the undergraduate level.
A total of six undergraduate students from the Psychology Study Program were declared to have successfully completed their studies and officially attained adjudicated status. All graduates have fulfilled the academic and administrative requirements stipulated by the faculty and the university and are scheduled to participate in the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Graduation Ceremony for the February 2026 period.
The adjudication ceremony commenced with the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem and the UNY Hymn, reflecting respect for national values and institutional identity. The event then proceeded with the reading of the Dean’s Decree of the Faculty of Psychology UNY regarding the official determination of the graduates.
Entering the main agenda, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Alumni, Research, and Cooperation of the Faculty of Psychology UNY, Dr. Suwarjo, M.Si., delivered the Graduation Adjudication Report. The report comprehensively outlined the number of adjudicated students from the Undergraduate Psychology Program, the graduates’ academic achievements—including those who attained the cum laude distinction—as well as an overview of the length of study undertaken by students throughout their undergraduate education.
The presentation of the adjudication report reflected the quality of the learning process and academic supervision within the Undergraduate Psychology Program at UNY and served as part of an ongoing evaluation for the continuous improvement of educational quality.
The event continued with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UNY, Dr. Siti Rohmah Nurhayati, M.Si., who conveyed her congratulations and appreciation to all adjudicated students for their academic achievements. She emphasized that graduates of the Undergraduate Psychology Program are expected to apply psychological knowledge ethically, scientifically, and responsibly, while upholding professional values in their respective roles within society.
The series of activities concluded with the formal conferment of the Graduation Adjudication Decree to the participants as an official symbol of graduation, followed by a prayer session and a group photo session. These closing activities marked the completion of an important academic phase and the beginning of a new chapter for graduates as they move toward professional engagement and further personal development.
