Undergraduate Psychology Program Yudisium at UNY: 24 Graduates Ready to Make an Impact

The Undergraduate (S1) Psychology Program of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), successfully conducted its yudisium ceremony as the final stage of students’ academic journey. The event took place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the 3rd Floor Hall of Moh. Amien Building, Faculty of Education (FIP) UNY.
This yudisium marked a significant milestone for the students, as it officially signifies the completion of their academic responsibilities. The ceremony was filled with a sense of pride and emotion, attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and the graduates of the Undergraduate Psychology Program. A total of 24 undergraduate students were officially declared graduates and participated in the yudisium. They have successfully completed all academic requirements, including coursework, practicum activities, research, and their final thesis. These achievements reflect their dedication, perseverance, and academic competence developed throughout their study at the Faculty of Psychology UNY.
In the remarks delivered during the event, faculty representatives expressed their appreciation for the students’ hard work and commitment. Graduates of the Undergraduate Psychology Program are expected not only to excel academically but also to demonstrate practical competence, integrity, and strong social awareness. These qualities are essential for psychology graduates who are expected to understand human behavior comprehensively and contribute meaningfully to society. Furthermore, graduates were reminded that the yudisium is not the end of their learning journey, but rather the beginning of a new chapter. The challenges of the professional world and further education require them to continuously grow, remain adaptable, and apply psychological knowledge in diverse real-life contexts.
The yudisium also served as a moment of reflection for the graduates, highlighting the long journey they have undertaken from their early days as students to the completion of their studies. The academic experiences, social interactions, and knowledge gained during their time at university are expected to serve as valuable assets for their future endeavors. All graduates of the Undergraduate Psychology Program will proceed to the UNY Graduation Ceremony scheduled for June 2026. Thus, this yudisium represents an important gateway toward their official recognition as UNY alumni.
The Undergraduate Psychology Program, Faculty of Psychology UNY, extends its heartfelt congratulations to all graduates for their accomplishments. May the knowledge they have gained become a strong foundation to create impact, inspire others, and contribute positively to society. Congratulations and best wishes to all Undergraduate Psychology graduates!
